It can be said that many locking mailboxes on the market today look a little too commercial. Most of them look out-of-place in front of a single family home. For that reason, the MB900 Lockbox should meet most peoples needs for an attractive, heavy duty, locking postbox that will hold up well against thieves and vandals. This mailbox is constructed from heavy duty steel plate and powder coated with a durable maintenance free finish similar to an automobile factory finish. It measures 9.5" wide x 11.5" high by 22" deep. It has a flap covered slot in the front door that measures 6.25" wide x 1.25" tall.
The MB900 features a "Smart Lock". A "smart lock" allows the mailbox door to be opened one time. Another words, you can put your out-going mail in the mailbox and then you set the "smart lock". The mailman can open the front door (one-time), take your out-going mail, and place your in-coming mail inside the mailbox. After he shuts the mailbox door, the door engages the "smart-lock" and is locked until you open it with your key. The front door can also just be left in the unlocked position. Weight 42lbs.
