Note about this mailbox and post set-up:

The mailbox and post are from two different suppliers and will probably arrive to you on different days. The mailbox post takes 1-2 weeks (if not sooner) and the mailbox with the custom signs takes about 3 weeks. Because the post is so large, it balances out the mailbox nicely. However, since the mailbox and post are from different suppliers, the screws to attach the mailbox to the post are not included. When we install this locally, we use one bolt through the mailbox floor to fasten it to the top of the newspaper holder. We also drill one extra hole through the back wall of the mailbox and we run one extra long screw that goes through the front of the vertical post into the wood core within. This both stablizes the mailbox while taking the weight of the mailbox off the post arm.

Although this is a popular mailbox/post combination, it is not the easiest combo to install. You do need to be a little handy to complete a good job. In my opinion, the matching factory metal post is easier to install with the Whitehall Mailbox. But then again.... this combination makes a much bigger statement.

Only order this package if you want your mailbox and post to make a BIG statement. Otherwise, you might be unhappy receiving a mailbox post that is so large. Check the dimensions shown below before ordering. Return shipping can be shockingly expensive for you.

Returns:

The mailbox and post is returnable within 14 days of delivery. Custom signs are never refundable or returnable unless in the rare event of a production error. You are responsible for the cost of returning the item. You will be refunded in full less a $125.00 charge to cover the original shipping and handling charge and the cost of the custom signs included in the sale price. (It is probably worth mentioning that the quality of these units is so good that we never get returns).
